AR/VR

Hello my dear readers!

his post revolves around our recent assignment, which involved creating AR/VR-integrated content. I collaborated on this task with Meryem Kılıç and Zeynep Özcan (feel free to explore their blogs by clicking on their names).

The clarity of the instructions provided by our instructor made the entire process remarkably straightforward. Our goal was to familiarize our students with London, incorporating AR and VR elements into our material. Initially, we guided our students to watch videos featuring Big Ben and Buckingham Palace before embarking on a virtual museum tour. To ensure engagement, we crafted questions for them to answer in a designated field. Following the virtual city tour, we thought it would be fun to explore local cuisine. In the concluding section, we created an opportunity for students to share their experiences with the world by posting photos on Instagram.

I thoroughly enjoyed the cheerful process, particularly the design we implemented, which I plan to bring into the physical classroom. I will keep you updated on the feedback after its implementation. It's truly exciting! In my view, this material offers a lifelike experience for second language learners. We utilized Canva for the design, and as mentioned earlier, it's a fantastic tool! Feel free to check out our material below.
